Youth Programs - Dance for Children & Families

Attention Parents and Caretakers! This May, share the joy of dance with a child in your life at Sydney Dance Company’s new Children & Families short courses and classes.

Whether you and your little one are seasoned pros or just starting out, we’ve got something for everyone. Set at Sydney Dance Company’s waterfront Wharf Studios, our classes are the perfect place to let loose and have some fun. Our Creative classes for ages 5-7 and 8-11 will explore jazz, contemporary, and ballet while incorporating games and choreography to keep your child engaged and entertained.

For families, our interactive class offers a chance to bond and explore different dance styles together. And for our youngest dancers aged 2-4, our five-week Mini Movers & Big Groovers short course will introduce them to the joys of movement and creative expression through stories, colours, and props. Don’t miss our Youth dance classes for ages 12-16, where dancers can develop their creativity and explore new ways of moving through different styles and creative tasks. Join us this May for an unforgettable dance experience! 2023 Active & Creative Kids vouchers can be used for this workshop.
