IN.RESIDENCE

Co3 Contemporary Dance presents IN.RESIDENCE 2022

Artist Emma Fishwick From Here, Together

Supported by Wright Burt Foundation and Performing Lines WA DATES 9 June, 6pm 10 June, 6pm 11 June, 6pm VENUE RR1, State Theatre Centre of WA

Emma Fishwick, 2022 IN.RESIDENCE artist, unpacks the out-takes of her Perth Festival commission, Slow Burn, Together. What was discarded becomes new again in an upcycling of choreographic intent and a redirection of the original. From Here, Together is a purposeful exploration of the duration and labour of moving images and the power of collective action through an ensemble of performing bodies. A thoughtful, hypnotic and hauntingly beautiful choreographic investigation from one of WA’s leading dance makers. It will include a facilitated discussion with the audience at the completion of each showing with Fishwick and her creative collaborators. An exciting opportunity to engage in the process and deliberate on the art form that is contemporary dance. Duration - 40 min Tickets $25 - $30 + BF
