Feisty Fems and Fellows

FUN and CREATIVE DANCE classes led by Diane Busuttil in partnership with Dance for Parkinson’s AUSTRALIA.

FORM is delighted to launch new 30-week series of creative ageing dance classes following the success of the 2018 DANscienCE Moving Well festival and associated Get Moving classes.

Each weekly session will start with a class specifically designed for people with Parkinson’s disease, carers, friends and family members. The second half of the session will be an open class for seniors (anyone over 55) eager to dance in a joyful and creative spirit. Classes will get the blood flowing and the body dancing. They will include soft stretches suited to everyone’s ability, moving to classic tunes and interacting with other participants in a social setting.

Classes will take place in the Centenary Uniting Church in North Parramatta. The venue has ramps for wheelchairs and parking. Kitchen facilities will be open to participants for a cup of tea or coffee after class. No previous dance experience is necessary!
