Ballet Stars From Around the World Perform in Perth’s The Nutcracker

Charlesworth Ballet Institute (CBI), presents the delightful Christmas ballet, The Nutcracker.

This traditional Christmas ballet will feature special guest artists Vince Topolánszky courtesy of Hungarian Dance Academy, as the Prince and Christian Luck of the West Australian Ballet as the mysterious Drosselmeyer. Prepare to be enthralled by the genius of Tchaikosky’s composition combined with a flawless performance by Perth’s most gifted young dancers in this superb production which has captured all generations for over a century.

This much-loved ballet, performed throughout the world, tells the tale of Clara and her beloved Nutcracker Doll which she receives from the mysterious Drosselmeyer on Christmas Eve. The Nutcracker Doll magically comes to life and takes Clara on an incredible adventure to the Land of Sweets. Along their journey they encounter the evil Mouse King and his army, are swept through a sparkling snowstorm to meet the enchanting Snow Queen and are finally welcomed into the Land of Sweets by the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy and her handsome Prince. A Christmas treat for the whole family this holiday season, be mesmerised by this enchanting production and create some magical traditions with us.
