The aim of The Jane Moore Academy of Ballet's Full Time and Part Time Ballet Coaching Program is to train and prepare young dancers contemplating a professional career in Dance.
The Academy provides students with access to professional, highly qualified and dedicated teachers who are committed to training and developing their students, supporting and encouraging them to achieve their goals and to reach their full potential.
A world class Faculty including some of Australia's leading teachers have been assembled to deliver the Full Time and Part Time Ballet Coaching Program committed to advancing talented male and female dancers considering a career in ballet.
Description
The Jane Moore Academy of Ballet is committed to training and developing young dancers, supporting and encouraging them to achieve their goals and to reach their full potential. Jane Moore, JMAB founder and Principal is a qualified, RAD Teacher with a registered RAD Teaching Certificate and over 40 years teaching experience.
Established in 1987 the Academy has earned an enviable industry reputation with students regularly auditioning and being accepted into the Australian Ballet School. Our student's success at the YAGP, Prix de Lausanne and other major competitions has seen acceptance into prestigious International Schools like the Royal Ballet School London, Dutch National Ballet Academy and the 'John Cranko Schule' in Stuttgart, Germany. Most recently students have been accepted into the Joffrey Ballet School Chicago, Queensland Ballet Academy and numerous international summer schools.
Jane is passionate about ballet and endeavors to inspire her students to respect its beauty and precision. The purpose built studio has fulfilled one of her lifelong dreams but her ambition is for her students, some of whom have gone on to join The Australian Ballet Company including Eloise Fryer, Kristy Corea and Marcus Morelli; The Queensland Ballet Company including Mia Heathcote and Vanessa Morelli: The Dresden Opera Ballet Company, Brooke McAuley; and Ballet Manila, Abigail Oliveiro.

Full Time ballet students elect to study their secondary school academic subjects via Virtual
School of Victoria- Distance Education.

Pilates and Conditioning.
Contact Hours
Coaching Level 1 - Monday Mornings
Coaching Level 2 - Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon
Coaching Level 3 - Tuesday and Friday Afternoons with Wednesday All day Optional
Full Time Coaching Level 4 & 5 - Monday to Friday All day
In addition to daytime coaching, evening and Saturday classes are also offered at the Academy.
Saturday classes are optional.
Pre-Requisites
Senior Coaching Level 4&5 - 15yo+ (approx Year 10)
Coaching Level 3 - 14yo (Year 9 and above)
Coaching Level 2 - 13yo+ (Year 8-9)
Coaching Level 1 - 12+yrs (Year 7-8)

Audition Requirements
Students wear their own choice of leotard, tights and ballet flats. Please note pointe shoes will also be required for girls. Students will be notified where possible on the day of audition.
Fees
-Audition Fee: $30 payable on the day
-Audition Fee: $40 payable on the day
-Course Fees: Coaching Level 1 Term Fee: $325*
-Coaching Level 2 Term Fee: $650*
-Coaching Level 3 Term Fee: $650*
-Coaching Level 4 & 5 (Senior Full Time) Term Fee: $1,850 (includes evening and Saturday classes)
