Description
The Full-Time Program at Danceworks Sydney is a goal oriented course, delivered within a nurturing environment, for students who show potential, are hard working and dedicated. The emphasis is on training young dancers in safe dance technique, as well as developing each student's artistry, musicality, versatility, resilience and self belief.
Students are taught strategies to achieve their personal best. They are also taught injury prevention in order to sustain a long, healthy career. The number of students accepted onto the program is small in order to ensure each student is given enough attention and guidance.
Studio Director, Olivia Jenkins, a former professional dancer holds a Distinction from the Professional Dancer's Teaching Diploma from the Royal Academy of Dance, London and a BA Honours in Professional Practice (Ballet) from London University.

Auditions Date
Prospective students can apply throughout the year. Main intake is annually in late January.
Scholarship or Subsidies
Scholarships are given to students who show outstanding potential and motivation, and to financially compromised students.
