Description
The Amanda Bollinger Dance Academy offers elite training in classical ballet, providing the necessary coaching and performance experience to pursue a career in classical ballet or contemporary.
All students are trained in the Vaganova method of classical ballet, renowned for its strength, placement, artistry, and harmonious coordination. Programs include: Tiny Tots, After-School, Half-Day (12-13 yrs), Full-Time Program (from 14 yrs).
The careful training and nurturing of our students to achieve their individual goals is paramount.
Graduates have been accepted into prestigious international schools including: Royal Ballet School, John Cranko Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet School, Princess Grace Academy, Canada's National Ballet School, Dutch National Ballet Academy, Tanzakademie Zurich, Australian Ballet School, European School of Ballet, Rambert Ballet School, Codarts, Royal Conservatory of the Hague and Palucca University of Dance.
Main Subjects
Classical Ballet (Vaganova-based training and Ballet Conservatoire examination program), Pointe/Repertoire, Pas de Deux, Contemporary, Character, Improvisation, Conditioning (Pilates, Yoga, Cardio, PBT).

Scholarship or Subsidies
ABDA has a limited number of scholarships available for particularly talented and dedicated students.
Distance Education fees are subsidised through the Cairns School of Distance Education.
