Music licensing for classes, concerts and online videos will be covered in a OneMusic webinar for Australian dance and performance schools on 13 October at noon AEST.
Co-hosted by Tegan Lowe from Ausdance Queensland, the session has been organised following requests from Ausdance, the Royal Academy of Dance, Cecchetti Ballet Australia, Dance Research Australasia and the Australian Institute of Classical Dance.
The webinar will explain the OneMusic Dance and Performance Schools and Instructors music licence, including how syllabus music fits in and what schools need to consider when staging concerts or posting videos with music online. It will also cover APRA Dramatic Context Eisteddfod licensing, how to ensure licensing fees reflect a school’s current operations, and how licence revenue supports music creators.
