Queensland Ballet Academy (QBA) will be hosting its first ever event designed specifically for male dancers, Boys ONLY Workshop, 14-15 August at the school’s new home in Kelvin Grove.

The two-day workshop includes ballet, contemporary dance and repertoire training, as well as a Q&A session at the end of the first day. Teachers include QBA Director Christian Tátchev, QBA Head of Senior Program and Resident Choreographer Paul Boyd, and Queensland Ballet Principal Artists Victor Estévez and Camilo Ramos. A guest contemporary teacher is still to be announced.

QBA will also be holding a Boys in Ballet Week via Facebook and Instagram, 20-26 July, focusing on publishing stories and information that celebrate male dancers in the QBA community.
