Arts boost from Australia Council

Thirty-nine applications were supported through two streams: Cultural and Creative Solutions and Industry Collaborations. Applicants were asked to to respond to key priority areas for recovery (including equity and justice, mobility and exchange, resilience, health and wellbeing, leadership and digital) "aimed at building a more resilient, sustainable and equitable future".
The funding round includes strong support for First Nations arts and cultural organisations and organisations working with people with disability.
Among the dance applications, ACT independent artist Elizabeth Lea received $26,000, Dirty Feet (NSW), which works with people with disabilities, received $48,000, and the choreographic lab Critical Path (NSW) received $49,998.
