We are looking for the most beautiful and creative dance photographs in Australia!

Not only do we want to see fantastic dance poses, we’re also looking for interesting image composition, lighting, costume and setting, and that extra expressive something that makes a photo speak without words.

Entry is open to both dancers and photographers – however, the prizes will be awarded to the dancer/s in the winning photos. There's $1,000 worth of Capezio vouchers up for grabs! Plus, a selection of the best photos will be featured in Dance Australia magazine* and on our Instagram feed.

To enter, simply…

2. Post your dance photo
3. Tag @_dance_australia
4. Caption #danceaustraliacontest19
5. Include details about the image – the names of both the dancer and the photographer

Terms and conditions: You must have an Australian postal address in order to be eligible to win. Competition closes 20/01/2020 and the winner will be notified via Instagram Direct Message within 10 business days of the closing date. The winner will also be announced on the Dance Australia Instagram account. The finalists and winner will be selected by an expert judging panel chosen by Dance Australia. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. By entering the competition you're providing permission for the Dance Australia Instagram account to repost your photo(s). Dancer/s who feature in the photographs must have obtained the necessary permissions from the photographer to use and publish the images. Photographers must have permission from any dancers in the photo before posting to Instagram.

* To be used in the magazine, image must be available in high res (minimum 300 dpi at 25 x 32 cm)
