Tracks Dance Company in Darwin is looking for expressions of interest from dancers aged between 8 to 80 who are interested in performing in its 2012 Darwin Festival production 8 to 80 - A Whole of Life Experience. History, knowledge, tradition and youth will come together to give a snapshot of who we are right now, in a performance as intergenerational and intercultural as this place we call home.

Artistic director David McMicken is seeking dancers who may have a short solo or who are interested in having a solo created on them. "The cast will be chosen to reflect the cultural diversity of where we live. The final work will contain solos as well as group work. The performance is outdoor, site specific and placed in and around an historical home in Myilly Point."

Auditions will be held late March early April 2012 with 10 weeks of rehearsals beginning May 28, leading up to 10 performances August 10 21.

Expressions of interest need to provide name, contact details (email preferably), date of birth and your particular dance style (if any).

Groups or intergenerational expressions of interest are welcome (e.g. you may be a 36 year old dance teacher, you may have a 14 year old student and a 72 year old uncle who is a great rock and roll dancer). All dancers who express interest will be sent the final audition dates.
