Sydney City Youth Ballet presents Nutcracker

Sydney City Youth Ballet’s Nutcracker opens at Glen Street Theatre, Thursday 27 November.  The production stars Emily Seymour as Clara.  Emily is best known for her performance on Channel TEN’s Everybody Dance Now, and has also recently been selected to compete in the prestigious Prix de Lausanne.

The show will also feature special guests from the Australian Ballet, Halaina Hills and Christopher Rodgers-Wilson, as well as Alistair Stewart (Slovak National Company) and Jeremy Gates (Tanz Akademie Mannheim) at select performances.
The Sydney City Youth Ballet was established over twenty years ago by Tanya Pearson OAM, as a means of providing the opportunity for young dancers to perform full-length ballets alongside professional guest artists.  Many past performers with the Sydney City Youth Ballet are now principals in companies around the world.
