The Splash! Dance festival in Geelong is celebrating its 10th birthday this year, and key among its events is the Australian Choreographic Competition, being held this weekend.
The competition has a total prize pool of $4500 and includes two categories - Category 1: Over 15 & under 19 years and Category 2: 19 years & over.
Each category has a set of criteria based on recognised and widely accepted approaches to dance composition.
The adjudicators for 2012 are Cheryl Kaloger Brown, Julia Scoglio (Blaikie) and Joseph Scoglio.
