Fast+Fresh Dance is a competition for young choreographers and dancers, aged 21 years and under. The event gives these young artists the opportunity to win awards including Best Male Dancer, Best Female Dancer, Most Outstanding Choreography, Best Solo, Duet and Group Performance and the Audience Choice Award.
Choreographers from all dance styles may enter, with previous works ranging from krumping to classical, jazz to contemporary. This year’s prize pool includes two secondments at Sydney Dance Company and Bangarra Dance Theatre, free classes with Urban Dance Centre and Sydney Dance Company studios, dance gear, vouchers and magazine subscriptions.
This is the seventh time this annual event has run. Hosted by FORM Dance Projects, it will take place at Riverside Theatres, Parramatta from 10-15 November.
