Auditions for Centro Roselands Talent Search (NSW) kick off on Thursday 6 June and continue on Thursday 13 June. Aspiring dancers, singers and performers, ages 5 to 18 are invited to audition. The successful contestants from this round of auditions will perform in the heats during the school holidays from Monday 1 to Friday 5 July.
Contestants will perform daily at 11.30am and 1.30pm daily. The ten junior and ten senior winners will then compete in the Grand Final on Saturday 6 July. In between the Junior and Senior Grand Final shows last year’s 1st place winners will perform exclusively for the Roselands audience.
Past contestants include Human Nature, Nikki Webster, Mitchell Hicks, Tamara Jaber, X Factor finalists Mahogany and The Voice 2012 Finalists Diana Rouvas and Danni Da Ros. The competition provides an opportunity to perform under the bright lights in front of a large live audience. It’s a great boost for young performers who have their sights set on shows such as Australia’s Got Talent, X Factor and The Voice to help them gain confidence and exposure.
