In celebration of its 21st Birthday, the Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD) will hold its annual Australasian Scholarships in Melbourne. Classes will be held on Friday July 20 with performances to be held at the Clocktower Theatre in Moonee Ponds on July 21 and 22. The prestigious David Atkins Award and Justine Summers Award will also be presented, as well as life memberships and the Avril Binzer Achievement Award.
The ATOD Australasian Scholarships are sponsored by Energetiks dancewear. ATOD now contributes in excess of $60,000 per annum in the way of scholarships and bursaries to its members and their students.
Students from all over Australia will travel to Melbourne for this event and represent their schools as 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place-getters in their respective states.
