Dance Australia and some of Australia’s top dance schools are giving you the chance to WIN 1 week of FREE dance tuition at a top Australian summer dance school of your preference, such the National College of Dance's Summer School (NSW)!

The finals of Fast+Fresh Dance, a competition for young dancers and choreographers, was held at Riverside Theatres, Parramatta on Saturday 15 November.

Coming immediately after the Melbourne Festival, Dance Creation had a hard act to follow. But it more than delighted with a program of choreography that was consistently imaginative and well performed.

“Matthew, do you know I’m off my leg?” The question seemed simple enough, and the task – balance her on one pointe-shoed leg – was not complicated. Ah, I see what’s happening, I thought to myself, and quickly manipulated her weight back. “No that’s worse,” came the agitated reply.

Fast+Fresh Dance is a competition for young choreographers and dancers, aged 21 years and under.

The Australian DanceSport Championship will be held in Melbourne, from 5-7 December at Hisense Arena, Olympic Boulevard.
