Love and Information

Theatre Works proudly presents Love and Information By Caryl Churchill Directed and Choreographed by Belle Hansen Someone sneezes. Someone can’t get a signal. Someone shares a secret. Someone won’t answer the door. Someone put an elephant on the stairs. Someone’s not ready to talk. Someone is her brother’s mother. Someone hates irrational numbers. Someone told the police. Someone’s never felt like this before. In this fast-moving kaleidoscope, over 100 spirited characters search for meaning in their lives. Through sex, death, feeling, taxidermy and karaoke they discover each other and couched within their whispers, exchanges and revelations, we see ourselves and the people we love. One of the world’s foremost living playwrights, Caryl Churchill’s works always astound and delight with their originality and creativeness. First performed in 2012 at the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs in London, Love and Information sees her signature wit and intuition reveal an amazing tapestry of human connections. Playing as a part of the By Theatre Works programming stream this May/June and brought to the stage by an incredible team of artists and art makers, don’t miss an opportunity to catch this rarely staged work! Theatre Works is a vibrant hub for creative expression, fostering the development and presentation of innovative and daring performances.
