Kristina Chan, 'A Faint Existence' (Sydney)

The return of Kristina Chan’s acclaimed 2016 solo debut, the first instalment in her trilogy of works, exploring our relationship to nature. A powerful physical meditation on impermanence, fragility and mortality in the age of climate change, A Faint Existence explores our complex connection to the environment, our desire to make a change and the feelings of helplessness that derail our best intentions. This stunning full-length work is set in a provocatively shifting environment created by designer Clare Britton and features a live electronic score from composer James Brown.
