Australian Dance Collective: Blue

Something Old / Something New / Something Borrowed

ADC celebrates 40 years of dance with Blue, a triple bill that honours the past, embraces the present, and looks boldly toward the future.

Natalie Weir's When Time Stops will return to the QPAC stage with Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra for a soul-stirring performance that captures the fragility and beauty of life's pivotal moments, as it did in its original season.

Melanie Lane treads the slippery realm of dream-thought with her new creation, Glass Teeth. This world premiere – created in collaboration with UK electronic music visionary, Clark – dances through the uncanny nightmares and fantasies that we are transported to when we sleep.

Global superstar Hofesh Shecter’s In your rooms will close out the extraordinary triple bill with a visceral exploration of society’s chaotic energy and inner tensions, bringing together eight dancers for one electrifying performance.
