Amazing India - Adelaide's World of Cultures

A music, dance and tradition packed journey through India. This world premiere surprises and delights with its diverse program of various community performances featuring Indian classical, folk, contemporary, Bollywood dance and music. Teachers and students from Kalalaya School of Indian Performing Arts deliver soothing prayer chants, Bharatanatyam dances with a history of almost 3000 years, rhythmic Kathak dances, upbeat Bollywood, vibrant cosmic dance of Lord Siva and songs of Bollywood musicals, as well as a special performance by the group’s toddler members. A colourful taste of India on your own doorstep.
