Description
Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) - This 3-year full-time program develops kinetically strong, culturally and conceptually aware dance artists through specialist education in an inclusive range of contemporary dance practices, dance science and somatics, critical dance studies, choreography and performance.
Master of Dance - This 2-year full-time (4-year part time) coursework emphasises choreography as an expanded research practise through interdisciplinary, performance and collaboration - subscribing to the view that the discipline of dance and approaches to choreography are inherently diverse and evolving.
Main Subjects
Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) - Body Knowledges: Dance Science; Studio Practices; Integrated Practices; Repertory Studies; Composing While Dancing; Choreographic Production.
Master of Dance - Body Time Space and Place; Inter-Disciplinary Dance Methods; Choreography as Research; Dance Writing, Archives and Documentation; Dance Science & Somatics; Research Project.
Contact Hours
Full-time students should expect to be on-campus approximately 30 - 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday
