Two Melbourne-based youth dance companies, Yellow Wheel and Loco Youth Dance Theatre (LYDT), will be coming together the present a double bill of dance at this year’s Anywhere Festival, presented by the Frankston Arts Centre.
Yellow Wheel’s young dancers will perform a new work by Joshua Lowe entitled The Golden Age, a comment on the misplacement of value. Emerging dancers from LYDT will perform In Transit by Ru Atma and RAWcollective, which explores the characters, sterile landscape and undefined culture of the airport.
The Golden Age/In Transit will be performed 21 and 22 August at a secret Frankston venue, to be revealed! This is a free performance and bookings can be made here.
