Yellow Wheel youth dance company’s annual showcase of company members’ choreography will be presented this weekend at The Space in Prahran, Melbourne. Entitled “Showroom”, the program gives young dancers a chance to try their hand at choreography. Yellow Room artistic staff encourage the young artists to take risks and explore something in which they have an interest.
“Showroom” is in its third year and this year one work will be selected to be developed further and then presented in Yellow Wheel’s major season, “I Came Here to Dance Once”.
“Showroom 2014” choreographers include Belle Frahn-Starkie, Hana Dawson, Kathleen Campone, Kathleen Lott, Madison Phillips, Mikayla Thomas and Natalie Surry.
