On Sunday 23 August, the Australian Institute of Classical Dance (AICD) held its biennial New Zealand Scholarship. This scholarship is held in conjunction with the New Zealand School of Dance and this year the recipient is Isabelle Greenwood from the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. This award will see Isabelle travelling to New Zealand courtesy of the AICD and spending two weeks training with the New Zealand School of Dance.
In promoting opportunities for students, the AICD also ran a Junior Ballet Award this year, with Heidi Freeman of KC’s School of Dance being the recipient.
