Western Australia will take centre stage in February 2026 as AXIS Dance Collective launches IGNITE26, a landmark two-day event dedicated to the business of dance.
Held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 27–28 February, IGNITE26 promises to deliver a level of industry insight and collaboration rarely seen on the West Coast. Created by respected dance business leaders Kelly Groves and Aimee Di Gregorio, the event aims to bridge the gap between creativity and commercial success, offering practical tools, innovative systems, and strategies for sustainable growth.
“This event is about closing the gap between creativity and commercial success,” says Groves, Co-Founder of AXIS Dance Collective. “IGNITE is changing the game for Western Australian studio owners, teachers, and industry professionals — giving them the access, strategy, and inspiration they deserve.”
The program will feature expert-led workshops, keynote presentations, and a curated vendor showcase, alongside networking sessions designed to encourage collaboration and mentorship. Di Gregorio adds, “IGNITE isn’t about competition — it’s about collaboration. We’re creating a space where Western Australia’s dance leaders can connect, learn, and grow together.”
IGNITE26 represents a welcome opportunity for West Australian professionals to access high-level business education locally. By bringing together leaders in both dance and enterprise, it aims to strengthen the foundations of dance as a sustainable and thriving industry in the region.
