Vertical Shadows, the Melbourne-based contemporary jazz company, is presenting a new work called Release the Stars in St Kilda from August 17-21.
The show is choreographed by the company’s founding artistic director, Stephen Agisilaou, who is dedicated to creating professional performing opportunities for dancers. Since returning to Australia from LA and Canada (where he was a principal dancer with Move – the Company), Agisilaou has worked as a choreographer on several projects, including the Melbourne production of the Broadway musical, Spring Awakening.
