Tracks, the contemporary dance company based in Darwin, is seeking enthusiastic people to enrol in its Choreographic Program 2012. The Choreographic Program, now in its fourth year, is an exciting series of workshops focusing on artistic development. We invite participants of all ages to apply.
The three-month program includes a dance film project, mentoring, great guest teachers, learning about composition, improvisation, music research, pushing yourself as an artist, sourcing new inspiration, working in studio and outdoors environments, creating your own dance material, and enjoying vibrant discussions with new friends. Participants will work towards creating their own short dance work for a public showing.
The Choreographic Program is devised and led by Jess Devereux, Tracks! Dance Animateur.
Expressions of interest are now open and must be submitted by Friday Nov 25th, 2011.
