Shiver, a new work by independent WA choreographer Danielle Micich, opens Thursday 17 November in Perth.

Performed by Gerard Van Dyck, Jacqui Claus, Leanne Mason and Lewis Kilpatrick, Shiver explores the gamut of human emotion experienced by four people faced with loss. Together they dance tango, search for answers and relive past moments when life ran out of control.

Shiver is based on true stories and for this reason Micich believes that they will resonate with the audience.  "From sorrow to serenity, these experiences are universal," she says.

As part of the project, the Shiver team ventured to a local park where they asked passers-by a series of questions based on the central themes of the performance.  These interviews are available online in a series of four episodes, which are being released weekly in the time leading up to the performance.
