Applications are open for Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Year program in 2016. The Pre-Professional Year is a nationally accredited, full time course for young, career-minded dancers. Participants train full-time alongside Sydney Dance Company and are exposed to nationally and internally renowned choreographers.
The program is run at Sydney Dance Company’s studios in Walsh Bay and covers contemporary dance and ballet technique, improvisation and composition, partnering, repertoire classes and workshops, audition techniques, yoga, pilates, nutrition, injury prevention, choreographic development and performance opportunities.
Entry to the course is by application, followed by an invitation-only audition to be held 6 September.
