STRUT dance’s annual season of short works is heading to south this year, to the Fremantle Arts Centre (WA). As the title of the program, “In Short – In Situ”, suggests, it’s a collection of site specific works, with choreographers taking inspiration from the historic Fremantle Arts Centre’s architecture and grounds. Each of the five works will be performed in a different location on the centre’s grounds.

“In Short – In Situ” will be performed three times per evening, to an audience of just 25 per show, giving viewers a chance to be close to the physicality of the dancers.

“In Short – In Situ” features works by Anything is Valid Dance Theatre, Linton Aberle and Sarah Chaffey, Kynan Hughes, Emma Fishwick and Emma Harrison.
