This weekend the Australian Ballet’s Coppelia opens in cinemas around Australia.

It’s the last in the Australian Ballet’s Fairy Tale Series, presented in partnership with CinemaLive. Starring Ako Kondo and Chengwu Go, Coppelia comes to the silver screen direct from its Christmas season run at the Sydney Opera House.

Originally directed by the Australian Ballet’s founding artistic director Peggy van Praagh, with costumes by the late Kristian Fredrikson, this Coppelia is full of sorcery and masquerade, romance and high jinks.

Coppelia begins its on-screen season 29 and 30 April. For all participating cinemas and to book tickets visit www.cinemalive.com
