Three talented choreographers have been invited to present their work at this year’s Launch Pad season, presented by Expressions Dance Company (EDC).
Artistic director Natalie Weir has invited Lisa Wilson, Claire Marshall and Gareth Belling to create a series of duets on EDC dancers.
Launch Pad is an intimate in-studio season, now in its third year, which was developed by Weir to give choreographers an opportunity to try out new ideas and audiences a chance to experience contemporary dance up-close and personal at the company’s home studios in Brisbane.
The three choreographers will chat with the audience about their works prior to each piece.
Launch Pad 2012 is on at the EDC studio, Level 4, Judith Wright Centre of the Contempoary Art.
