The results of the 2017 Prix de Lausanne have been announced. Eight scholarships were awarded to some of the most illustrious dance schools in the world.

The winners were:

Marina Fernandes da Costa Duarte (17) Brazil
Taisuke Nakao (17) Japan
Koyo Yamamoto (15) Japan
Lauren Hunter (15) US
Stanislaw Wegrzyn (18) Poland
Diana Georgia Ionescu (16) Romania
Sunu Lim (17) South Korea

Just getting into the finals is an achievement in itself. There were 20 finalists altogether, two of whom were Australians: Jessi Seymour (Alegria Dance Studios) and Joshua Jack Price (Amanda Bollinger Dance Academy & The Dance Centre).. All finalists who do not win a prize receive 1000 Swiss Francs.
