Former Australian Ballet principal Matthew Trent, who left the company in 2005, is holding his first photography exhibition.
Trent left the company to pursue a career in musical theatre, and wound up on Broadway in Billy Elliot.
Now he is bringing his “love and passion for the beauty of the visual form” to the art of photography.
The exhibition, called Stepping Stones, runs at the Blank_Space Gallery in Surry Hills, Sydney, from January 28 to February 3.
