Ballet Theatre of Queensland (BTQ) is looking for a new artistic director for its 2012/2013 season.
BTQ is a long-established not-for-profit organisation which aims to provide professional performance and stagecraft opportunities to young dancers, as well as fostering an appreciation of ballet amongst young and old audiences alike.
The company presents six performances a year, and is the the only youth ballet company in Queensland which performs each year in the Playhouse at Queensland Performing Arts Centre . It is independent from any one dance school.
The company's former co-artistic director, Jodi White, died earlier this year.
The new artistic director will ideally have had experience as a professional company dancer, teacher, choreographer and rehearsal director.
