Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance (JCMOD) in Melbourne has been offering full-time dance training since 2009, producing graduates who are employed in areas such as musical theatre and television. In 2012 Jason Coleman and Director Jackie Sherren Scott made the decision to secure national accreditation for the school's full-time course.  Consequently, from 2013, JCMOD will be offering a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Dance, accredited by Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD).

Sherren Scott is thrilled that JCMOD is part of the roll out of nationally recognised qualifications for dance. “Our full time course is an industry based course and we are delighted that we have been able to tailor it to meet the requirements and qualifications of a Certificate IV in dance. We will also continue to deliver our additional industry based curriculum," she says. "Eligible, successful applicants of the full time course will now be able to receive government funding to support their studies at the Ministry.” JCMOD hopes to deliver a diploma level qualification for all 2nd year students by 2014.

JCMOD is currently accepting applicants for full-time studies in 2013-2014.
