The line-up for year’s Dance Massive lives up to its name.

Dance Massive is held in Melbourne every second year. This sixth incarnation includes 30 productions, of which 15 are world premieres, as well as talks, screenings, workshops, industry events and large scale outdoor works.

The program includes works from some of Australia’s best-known companies and independent artists. For example, Chunky Move will present Common Ground, Anouk van Dijk’s last work as artistic director of the company, and Lucy Guerin Inc. will present Make Your Own World, a new work summoning images of societies, communities and personal relationships in flux. Force Majeure will present You Animal, You, which made its premiere at last year’s Sydney Festival.

There are some treats in store from independent artists too. Stephanie Lake will premiere Skeleton Tree and Paul White and Narelle Benjamin will present Cella. Russell Dumas is another iconic name on the line-up with Cultural Residues 2020. Plus there will be work from Kristina Chan, Joel Bray, Antony Hamilton Projects, Lilian Steiner, Luke George and Collaborators, Paea Leach and Alexandra Harris, Atlanta Eke… and more!

Dance Massive runs 12-24 March. More at http://dancemassive.com.au/
