Projection Dance will be staging two gala performances this January, featuring Italian ballerina and guest principal artist of the Royal Ballet, Mara Galeazzi. The two performances will also star former Australian Ballet senior artist, Juliet Burnett, Slovak National Ballet soloist, Dominic Ballard and international guest artists Kimbrian Bergh and Kristy Lee Denovan performing a collection of works by international and Australian choreographers. The program is produced by Australian choreographer and director of Projection Dance, Tim Podesta and his partner Jennifer Podesta.
The first performance will take place at Fall Creek, on a specially designed stage, Audience members will be able to purchase food and wine packages. The second show will be presenred at the Deakin Edge Theatre, at Federation Square, Melbourne. The performance will conclude a day of workshops, masterclasses and an exclusive coffee, tea and cupcakes Q&A with Mara Galeazzi.
The Falls Creek performance is on 23 January and the Deakin Edge performance is on 24 January.
