If you’re a dance student aged 13-18 and keen on a career as a dancer, Ausdance Victoria has a course for you! “Making the cut” is described as “an insiders guide to auditions, training and the life of a professional dancer”.
The course involves three sessions:
Audition time: Get all the best audition tips and learn industry knowledge in a mock audition workshop with musical theatre star Luke Alleva.
Stand on the stage: Get an exclusive back stage tour of the State Theatre, dance in the studio that some of the best companies in the world rehearse and feel what’s its like to stand on one of the best stages in Victoria.
Ask an expert: Q & A with dance professionals incl: Penny Higgs, Steph Lake, Paul Malek, top talent agents and more.
