Magical illusions to Melbourne in Pixel

French choreographer Mourad Merzouki and digital designers Adrien Mondot and Claire Bairdainne of Adrien M / Claire B are bringing a new work to Australia that fuses dance with digital arts. Entitled Pixel, the work is all about illusion and brings together contemporary dance, hip-hop, circus and digital projection.

Merzouki has been a major figure on the hip-hop scene since the early 1990s and is known for creating interdisciplinary work incorporating circus, martial arts, video and live music. The Adrien M / Claire B Company combines digital arts with live performing arts to create a range of works, from stage performances to exhibitions.

Pixel plays His Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne, August 31 to September 4. Tickets available via ticketek.
