As part of the Sydney Biennale Critical Path is thrilled to be hosting Israeli artist Lilach Livne this June. Livne will perform TRANSCENDING, for peace at the Drill Hall in Rushcutter’s Bay, NSW, 2-3 June.

A free performance, TRANSCENDING, for peace explores the possibility of transcending beyond the seen, encouraging us to reshape our perception of the other and mixing notions of very different appearances into new “non-image.” The work invites audience members to join hands, dance, pray and strive for abstract ways of being in this live philosophical, spiritual and political practice.

Livne and her Israeli performers, Moran Sivan and Tal Haring will work with Australian artists Andrew Haining, Alice Heyward and Shahmen Suku, as part of Critical Path’s partnership with the 20th Biennale of Sydney.

When: Thursday 2 June 7pm and Friday 3 June 9pm.
Duration: 75mins Cost: FREE This work contains nudity
Where: The Drill Hall, 1c New Beach Road, Darling Point (Rushcutters Bay)
