Attention dancers and choreographers!
The Pina Bausch Fellowship for Dance and Choreography is being offered for the first time in 2016. Applications for this new scholarship close 1 October 2015.
Based in Wuppertal, Germany, the Pina Bausch Fellowship for Dance and Choreography offers:
• Grants for a temporary residence at renowned institutions for dance and choreography abroad
• Secondment in an ensemble or a placement with a choreographer at home or abroad (unpaid)
• The opportunity to study with renowned dance teachers either at home or abroad
Fellowship recipients will discover new forms of expression and extend their repertoire of movements, spurring their artistic development. The minimum length for each fellowship is three months, the maximum six months. The fellowship includes a monthly allowance of 2500 Euros and one-time travel expenses. Up to four fellowships are granted each year.
