The Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD) has secured funding on behalf of its members to enable them to undertake the new national and dance industry specific training packages. This will enable 250 dance teachers to undertake a nationally recognised Certificate IV or Diploma in Dance Teaching and Management or Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2013, with the Government paying for 67% of course costs.
In addition to the 250 places already secured, ATOD have been advised that there is potential to upscale this project, if a significant number of expressions of interest are obtained.
