A new Australian dance film, entitled Ador, will premiere at Melbourne’s Federation Square, Sunday 25 October at 12.30pm.
Ador, directed by Australian choreographer, dancer and director, Tim Podesta is a contemporary ballet work, featuring dance artists from Hong Kong Ballet, Singapore Dance Theatre, English National Ballet, Queensland Ballet and Atlanta Ballet, as well as guest principal artist of the Royal Ballet, Mara Galezzi. The dancers perform in their natural habitat, the studio.
Coming from the town of Wodonga, Podesta is keen to find ways to bring dance audiences around Australia. Ador is a not-for-profit venture supported by PROJECTion Dance Inc. and the City of Wodonga. The dancers and choreographer gave their time freely to make the film possible and Podesta plans to make the film widely available for public screenings across Australia.
