The eight artists and collectives who have been commissioned to make new work for the 2020 Keir Choreographic Award have been announced.

The eight new commissions will be presented at Dancehouse in Melbourne, March 3-7. Four semi-finalists will be chosen by the jury, which consists of five internationally renowned dance leaders. The four semi-finalists will then present their work at Carriageworks in Sydney from March 12-14. The jury will then select the winner of the 2020 Keir Choreographic Award, which includes a $50,000 cash prize. The winner of the Audience Award will receive $10,000.
