It is three years since we brought you our last Syllabus Guide, and since then there have been some big changes in dance teaching. As syllabus organisations are constantly changing and improving their courses, it is not before time to produce this update. Moreover, with the introduction of the Commonwealth Government's nationally accredited dance qualifications in the shape of the Live Performance Training Package, some syllabus organisations have adjusted their syllabus content accordingly.
This year's syllabus guide lists 20 Australian dance syllabuses, including their history, directors, grading, assessment and marking systems, teacher qualifications and more. There is also a feature on how syllabus organisations are fitting in with the new national Live Performance Training Package.
