Contemporary dance luminary Deborah Hay will be at Dancehouse in Melbourne this March. Hay will teach Dancehouse’s 2014 Learning Curve, a mentoring program that matches dancers with established artists.
The one-week intensive runs from March 10 to 14 and participants will engage in an intimate learning experience with Hay. The week will focus not on what is done onstage, but on how artists can continually enlarge the experience of dance whilst dancing.

Whilst at Dancehouse, Hay will give a public lecture entitled "A Continuity of Discontinuity". This performative lecture sees Hay examine how her understanding of her own creativity has changed through passing on her solo works to professional dancers. The lecture will be given just once on 7 March.
