Dance teachers from across Australia will meet at the 2012 Come Together Dance Teachers Convention which will be held at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance from 13-15 April. The convention will see dance teachers from all genres of dance, across a range of syllabuses and associations come together to hear from leading international and national speakers on a range of teaching methods and dance topics. Throughout the convention there will be specialised workshops, lectures, master classes and a trade exhibition.
A huge drawcard at the inaugural 2009 Convention was Rhee Gold from the United States who will once again present at this year’s convention. “The chance to hear Rhee Gold alone is in itself an opportunity not to be missed” says Karen Malek, President of the Australian Teachers of Dancing. “The tools and practical information Rhee shares in his sessions provides dance teachers with a new framework they can instantly apply to grow and develop their dance businesses.” Gold will be joined by a range dance educators - check out the convention website (link below) for the full list of speakers.
